We haven't said anything funny recently

Good Evening, internet.

My boy and I have enjoyed an entire weekend together. This has not happened in over a month as Scott has been working most Saturdays. I took full advantage and made to-do lists for each of us (he loves me so much) which made me remember the days long ago when I would wake up on a Saturday morning at home and there was a long to-do list that my Mom made for each of us. As much as I disliked waking up to those lists when I was a teenager, I have fond feelings of those days.

Pardon the reminiscing...

Anyway, Scott and I are moving apartments in a couple of weeks so we are in full clean out/pack up mode. Scott made two trips to Goodwill and I took everything off of our walls and started packing up our kitchen. It was exciting but the hours went by far too quickly and before I knew it, the day was over! I feel like this weekend has been about 5 minutes long. Also, how is it almost April? My life has now reached blur status.

On an exciting note, we've had insane weather the past little while. For the first time since....September (?) I chose to forego tights at church today. It was freeing and thanks to using a tanning toilette the day before I didn't feel quite as embarrassed to display my bare legs as I have in years past. Because of the pretty weather I brought my camera out after weeks of hibernation (just like my legs! too much? sorry.) in its case and we skipped our naps and went for a lovely walk in the park.

Oh the joys of spring and daylight savings time.

A minute or two

Monday.

We have not become any less boring since my last post. Scott was working most of this past weekend and I got up weirdly early on Saturday and my first thought was "I should get up and do the laundry before the laundromat gets too crowded."so that is what I did. I did the laundry and cleaned the apartment all before 12:30 PM ON A SATURDAY.

Seriously, what is happening to me?

Unrelated: I watched a little bit of the Oscars last night (then got bored and the desire for sleep came over me) and I have two things to say:
1. Nick Nolte got robbed, anyone who saw Warrior knows that.
2. Jim Rash is awesome. BRING BACK COMMUNITY.

Speaking of entertainmenty things. I was flipping between the Oscars and Mean Girls and all I have to say is this:

"I don't know, I mean, she's so weird, she just, you know, came up to me and started talking to me about crack."

"I'm sorry I laughed at you that time you got diarrhea at Barnes &aNoble and I'm sorry for telling everyone about it. And I'm sorry for repeating it now."

"Four for you Glenn Coco! You go, Glenn Coco."

Speaking of Glenn Coco...check out what I found:

Dying.

Some tunes to listen to.

Have a lovely week. We are counting down to the first week in May and a week long vacation....it seems so far away.

Prez

Happy President's Day!

3-day weekends need to happen once a month, for real. You get to rest, run errands, AND do fun stuff. Win-win-win. Because Scott is in the throws of busy season and work for me has been c-r-a-z-y we didn't really celebrate Valentine's Day on the actual day, so we decided to celebrate our love by doing something that we love to do --  going to the outlet mall this past Saturday. Now, when I say "we" love it I mean Scott loves the Nike store and I love ALL THE STORES. Cliche or not, retail therapy is the best therapy...that and massages. Also, one of my favorite things that I purchased on Saturday was a second pair of my favorite type of Under Armour sweat pants....What does this mean?

We have been going a little crazy over here due to work stress and we are both trying to eat healthier in preparation for our beach vacation in May so we are super cranky and also super boring. Example: one of the highlights of the last two weeks was that I cleaned out my closet and all of our "junk" boxes. YEAH. We have a bunch of those Ikea decorative boxes that have all sorts of crap in them that doesn't have a place. Every time I opened one of them it made me depressed. So, I turned on Breakfast at Tiffany's last weekend and went to town on cleaning out and organizing those boxes, then the stuff underneath our bed. It was liberating.

I think I just fell asleep re-reading that paragraph.

Scott was working today so I took myself to Chelsea to get a pretzel croissant and some chili pepper hot chocolate at City Bakery. (Eating healthier, Maribeth? "SHUT UP I'M STARVING" - Chris Farley)

This winter has been so mild, I am loving it.
